Contribution to SFXS and SFXC

As alumni may be aware, the SFX Alumni has been contributing a certain amount of money, traditionally HK$60,000, in equal shares to each SFX school every year. The money is used by the schools for, inter alias, organising activities for their students. Since the Alumni has no fixed income, the amount is drawn from the proceeds of our annual gathering and particularly the selling of raffle tickets on the occasion. This naturally inflats the ticket price of the gathering and narrows down the source of contribution to no more than two to three hundred of participants. In view of the economic downturn nowadays, we have, as can be seen from the above, made the ticket price of our coming annual gathering as affordable as possible so that more old boys can join the event. We have also decided to scrap the separate selling of raffle tickets. Taking this line will, however, adversely affect the amount the Alumni can secure for donating to the two SFX schools through the function. We are therefore writing to seek your help.

We appeal to all alumni for a contribution towards the above goal, to help the Alumni to continue donating to our mother schools so that they can keep on doing as much as possible for our younger brothers. So please donate whatever amount and your contribution will go directly to the two schools for the purpose. Looking forward to your help.
